KRISTINA WONG

Producer  |  she/her

Kristina Wong is a writer/director/producer who strives to tell stories that are against the grain and have a female point-of-view. She produces through a relationship-first based approach and prioritizes telling stories from underrepresented communities. She is an alumni of Hot Doc’s Accelerator Lab, Reelworld’s E20 Program and the winner of Reel Asian’s 2018 pitch competition. She graduated from York University with a BFA in Film Production after completing an internship at Strada Films during season 1 of KIM’S CONVENIENCE.

Kristina has worked under the guidance of a number of well-respected narrative producers including Jonathan Bronfman on the film BROTHERHOOD, Jessica Adams on TAMMY’S ALWAYS DYING and Ayah Hart on THE LAST PORNO SHOW.

As a writer/director, Kristina’s films has screened at the Victoria Film Festival, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival and have been acquisitioned by Bell Media. She is currently in pre-production on SONG HEE, a hybrid docu-drama about generational trauma, supported by the Toronto Arts Council.
