Dina Attalla is a Toronto-based cinematographer, with roots in the Middle East, who is inspired by narratives created by and for underrepresented voices. She built a solid foundation of 8+ years working in various camera and electrical departments after graduating with her BFA in Film Production from the University of British Columbia. Her work has screened across North America, including the Whistler Film Festival, Vancouver Latin American Film Festival, Cinequest San Jose Film Festival and the Green Bay Film Festival. In her previous role as the Gear and Operations Supervisor with world renowned Clairmont Camera, Dina has supported hundreds of crews prep for productions. She is currently the First AC on the feature film SCARBOROUGH, based on
the award-winning novel by Catherine Hernandez.
